Q: Broadly speaking, what recruitment services can ITP provide?

A: We assist as required, on a very flexible basis, with the recruitment of virtually every member of the academic and support staff that you'd expect to find in schools and colleges. These may be for cover on a short-term temporary basis, for contingencies like maternity leave or sabbatical/study years, or on a permanent basis. We provide this service for nursery, primary, early years, secondary and special schools, academies, pupil referral units, colleges and private schools throughout the UK.

Q: What checks are carried out by ITP when recruiting staff?

A: ITP's first priority is to ensure that the necessary checks are carried out before any teacher, nursery nurse or support staff is sent to your school. We meet and exceed all DfCSF for vetting.Our controls include a CRB check, List 99 clearance, professional face-to-face interview, qualification verification (through UK NARIC if necessary), two or more good references from suitable referees, permission to work in the UK, health check with examinations if necessary, and English language check if necessary.

Q: How do I pay you?

A: You will receive our invoice within 10 days after the week of supply cover. Our payment terms are 14 days from the invoice date.

Q: What if ITP fails to find somebody we want to employ? What if they walk off? What if we dismiss them?

You either pay nothing or you're refunded. It is that simple.

Q: How can I contact ITP?

A: All offices are open from 7.15 am until 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. We are also available during holiday periods except on bank holidays. You can contact your ITP consultant on their mobile 'phone 24 hours a day. An answering machine is available at all other times.
